About The Artist

Jennifer Lynne Thom (nee Rodger) was born in 1978, Johannesburg South Africa. Jen studied Graphic Design at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Currently living in Cape Town, she works primarily in oils.  

Jen’s early oil paintings were influenced by her grandparents art (Audrey Sawyer, Joan Surtees Shaw & William Shaw) and her great-grandmothers art (Ethel Sawyer).

Jen is inspired by the beauty of the vast and varying South African landscape. She is passionate about nature and animals.
